Description of Certification Schemes
Description of Certification Schemes
Product certification within the INTERGAZCERT System is carried out in accordance with the certification schemes established in document OGN0.RU.0101, taking into account the requirements of document OGN0.RU.0122 (Amendment No. 1).
The product certification schemes of the INTERGAZCERT System provide for the following general procedures to initiate the certification process:
- submission by the applicant of an application for voluntary certification with the attached technical documentation;
- review of the application and adoption of a decision to carry out product certification;
- adoption of a decision on the certification scheme;
- performance by the certification body of certification activities;
- issuance of a certificate to the applicant;
- marking of products with the conformity mark of the INTERGAZCERT System.
The distinguishing feature of each certification scheme is the type of documents establishing the requirements for the products to be certified, namely:
- type “1” schemes – the certification criterion is confirmation of product conformity with the requirements of PJSC Gazprom (STO Gazprom, R Gazprom), GOST R, GOST, etc. of the “Technical Requirements” type;
- type “2” schemes – the certification criterion is confirmation of product conformity with the requirements of PJSC Gazprom (STO Gazprom, R Gazprom), GOST R, GOST, etc. of the “General Technical Specifications” type;
- type “3” schemes – the certification criterion is confirmation of product conformity with the special requirements of PJSC Gazprom for specific facilities.
General principles for selecting certification schemes
The selection of a voluntary certification scheme is carried out taking into account the total risk of unreliable conformity assessment and the damage resulting from the use of products that have undergone voluntary certification within the INTERGAZCERT System.
The following main factors are taken into account when selecting a voluntary certification scheme:
- the degree of potential hazard of the product;
- the sensitivity of the certified indicators to changes in production factors and/or operating factors;
- the status of the applicant (manufacturer or seller).
Schemes 1a–1d apply to serially manufactured products when certifying them for compliance with the requirements of normative documents of PJSC Gazprom (STO Gazprom, R Gazprom), GOST R, GOST, etc. of the “Technical Requirements” type, while scheme 1e applies to product batches or a single product unit.
Schemes 2a–2d apply to serially manufactured products when certifying them for compliance with the requirements of normative documents of PJSC Gazprom (STO Gazprom, R Gazprom), GOST R, GOST, etc. of the “General Technical Specifications” type, while scheme 2e applies to product batches or a single product unit.
Schemes 3a–3d apply to serially manufactured products when certifying them for compliance with special product requirements established in design documentation and normative documents of PJSC Gazprom, while scheme 3e applies to product batches or a single product unit.
