TR CU 004/2011 Certification
The Certificate of Conformity to the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union 004/2011 'On the Safety of Low-Voltage Equipment' confirms that the product complies with the requirements of the Technical Regulations of the Customs Union.
The document is required for the supply or import of products, including shipment directly from the manufacturer’s warehouse or without storage, if the products are placed on the market within the territory of the Union.
The certificate is valid for up to 5 years and is recognized throughout the Eurasian Economic Union: in the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, and the Russian Federation.
Required Documents
- Application with the applicant’s information.
- Applicant’s information: a copy of the charter, certificate of state registration, and tax registration certificate.
- Copy of regulatory documentation for the product: Technical Specification, Standard of the Organization, and similar documents.
- Operational documents: TDS, label, and accompanying documentation.
Important Points
A Customs Union certificate can only be issued by a certification body that has the appropriate scope of accreditation and is included in the national part of the Unified Register of Certification Bodies and Testing Laboratories.
Conformity assessment is carried out before the product is placed on the market. The form of the Customs Union Certificate of Conformity is uniform for all Union member states.
For batch certification, a supply contract and invoice are additionally required. For products manufactured outside the Customs Union, a manufacturer’s agreement with an authorized representative within the Union is also required.
