Mandatory Fire Safety Certification
The Fire Safety Certificate of Conformity confirms that the product complies with the requirements of Federal Law No. 123-FZ dated July 22, 2008 'Technical Regulations on Fire Safety Requirements'.
The document is required for the supply or import of products for further distribution within the territory of the Russian Federation as part of commercial activities.
Products of general use and fire-fighting equipment, including cable products, are subject to mandatory confirmation of compliance with fire safety requirements.
Required Documents
- Application with the applicant’s information.
- Applicant’s information: a copy of the charter, certificate of state registration, and tax registration certificate.
- Copy of regulatory documentation for the product: Technical Specification, Standard of the Organization, and other valid documents.
Important Points
The certificate is valid for up to 5 years and is recognized across the entire territory of the Russian Federation.
Products that have been confirmed as compliant in the prescribed manner are labeled with the Market Circulation Mark in accordance with Federal Law No. 123-FZ.
For batch certification, a supply contract and invoice are additionally required. If available, a Quality Management System Certificate may also be provided.
