Declaration in the Communications System
The Declaration of Conformity for communication equipment confirms that products placed on the market comply with the requirements of regulatory legal acts in the field of communications.
All communication cables are subject to declaration, including optical, telephone, LAN, coaxial, and other types of cable products used in telecommunications infrastructure.
Our Testing Center conducts a full range of tests for the purpose of conformity declaration.
Contents of the Declaration
- Name and address of the applicant.
- Name and address of the manufacturer of the communication equipment.
- Technical description of the communication equipment in Russian, allowing unambiguous identification of the product.
- Information on the conducted studies, tests, and documents serving as the basis for conformity verification.
- Validity period of the declaration of conformity.
Important Points
The declaration is carried out on the basis of the applicant’s own evidence and materials obtained with the participation of an accredited testing laboratory.
A state fee is charged for the registration of the declaration. The completed declaration must be registered by the federal executive authority in the field of communications within three days.
The declaration and supporting evidence shall be retained by the applicant for the entire validity period and for an additional three years after its expiration.
